Too bad Ruger ruined the LCP II .22 with a magazine disconnect (which, since it’s passive, I probably could have overlooked with a great deal of effort), and a manual safety, AND worse yet, a manual safety that can be unintentionally activated by working the slide – thus continuing an apparent Ruger tradition of adding unnecessary and annoying “safety” features to otherwise fine guns.
I really wanted to like the LCP II .22, but unless Ruger comes out with a “Pro” version without the stupid features above (which none of the .380 versions have or need, hmm?) I’ll have to pass for defensive purposes. Come on Ruger!
