That looks really nice Dalton.  How do you like the XDS, I have the dummy gun but the real thing is on my short list.

It was a customer gun, but I had possession of it for about 2 weeks. It feels real nice, but I didn't get to shoot it. He did offer to send the mag though, so I could, but I declined. :-[

It is on my short list too, but my short list is getting much much longer.....

I was thinking I'd offer to send my bi-tone along with both 5 and 7 rd mags so you can shoot if you send it back in an IWB holster, but  1. I'm in NJ and I'd need a permit to pick it up from my FFL, and 2.  I like it too much to send it away. It's a really fun gun to shoot and is pleasant and accurate (even for me).

Hopefully I'll be able to affirm your statements about the XDs soon, but I'm starting to wonder.  Ordered a bi-tone the week before the election and was told it would be here in "a week or two"........still waiting.  :(

I got mine about 2 months ago after handling one at a local store. Theirs were sold, and I saw interest escalating on Gun Broker, plus Bud's had them for WAY over market. So I found one that no one had bid on and got it for about what it's worth, but I HAVE one.  I've been talking to some interested parties who say they can't find them anywhere unless the price is gouged up.

As of today, the wholesaler is no longer giving my dealer target delivery dates.  I'm hopeful that mine will be in my hands in time for my birthday.  Otherwise I'm gonna have to come shoot your's, Jay.

Just went to a gs near me and there were more XDs's than you could imagine!  Head on over to Ohio and pick a couple up!

My local GD just finally got some in a month or so ago, and he had ordered when they first come out. I can get them cheap enough from him, but its still not cheap enough.
GO ahead and send yours out.  ;)

I will get a chance one of these days I am sure.

Dalton,

Very well done my friend.  I see your getting the hang of the new sewing machine....

I have been asked to do another class (mid-January) on holster and sheath making at the local Leather Factory (store #1).  I am looking forward to it but this time I will concentrate on stuff that a beginner can grasp.  The last class I did was on Askins style holsters, and I only had one out of 12 students that really had enough experience to make a nice one.  Well we live an learn

Have a good holiday  and a properous New Years
