One of the most common ways we psych ourselves out is: I'm the only one who has the problem.
When reloading .38spl the decapping pin would stick to the primer and pull it back into the primer pocket.
While I was on hiatus I learned I'm not the only one. It's such a common problem, Dillon makes resizing dies with spring loaded decapping pins.
I order just their .357 sizing die. It works really well.
RCBS make spring loaded pins. So I ordered a few. Guess what, they don't fit my Hornady dies. Hornady is about 7/32" while RCBS is 1/4" No worries, Mate. I got a 1/4"x28 tap a made them fit the Hornady collet. Not that I need it for anything other than .357/.38, but in case I do I have a replacement decapper ready to go.

Handy to know.
And it brings up another thing. In this day of repeatable , truly interchangeable parts , if YOU have problem X any others using the same product will experience the same performance.
It AIN'T just you ;D
