Real nice looking stuff.
Did a search for 1911 S70 finger collets and a number of forum postings came up. One of which was by Greg Derr, Olympian and custom gunsmith. He was just commenting that he had replaced a boat load of the finger collets with solid bushing and posted a picture of a necklace of the old collects. Well DUH. I email him if he'd part with a couple of those, so I could have a spare or two. $15/ea. Cool as some typical ebay prices were running $40+.
Anyway. Really good eye candy.

I am not a fan of the engraved stuff.
Don't get me wrong I have more than a few les baers. They are with out a doubt works of art and shoot better than I do. Still no engravings on them.

My ex's favorite position was 68. I'd do her and she'd owe me 1. ;D I finally gave up hope of ever breaking even.
BTW, I turned 63 a little while ago. It was funny when I was talking to a customer service gal last week and she asked how old I was. She thought I sounded 50, if that. She also asked if I was married, etc. She sounded really interested in more than just customer service.
