Title: May the Lord Grant Strength
Post by: blackwolfe on July 28, 2009, 02:15:52 PM
I would like to start out in a general sort of way in asking that the Lord grant strength to the DRTV forum family.  There are numerous members here that are facing trial and tribulations from health issues, to unemployment, to financial distress, to personal distress.  I'm not much when it comes to writing prayers, but the Lord doesn't mind a poor author.

Lord,  Please give strength and courage to those family members here that are in your need.  Give them the means to cope with what ails them in there time of need.  And as always Lord, thank you for the blessings that you have bestowed upon us.  Amen.

I thought that was quite eloquent.  Amen.

I'm afraid that there is going to be more and more of sadness and trials before it gets better.
Remember.. it just takes a minute  (anywhere at any time of day or night )to say a quiet prayer for someone..  :)
And all prayer is a positive energy.. which counteracts a negative somewhere...

Beautifully said. Every prayer that we read, pray silently or speak aloud adds to the power of good in these dark times. Together we are a mighty force for good !!!
