Does the LCP have 'tool-less take down"? 

Why the slide lock if it doen't automatically lock on empty magazine?

Is there a magazine disconnect safety?

It has a pin just like its daddy the KT, It probably doesn't have a last round hold open because that would have been too big of a jump from the KT design for the Ruger designers to handle.

My question to Ruger is.

Why are they touting this gun as their design, when it is obviously a modified copy of a Kel Tec P3AT? I listened to the interview with the CEO and has said they started with a blank sheet of paper when they decided to build a pocket pistol. Did he just fail to mention there was a an exploded view on a P3AT sitting next to the blank sheet of paper.

Is the LCP rated to handle hot loads like to BuffaloBore "+P" offering?

Is there a "lifespan" in total number of rounds like another manufacturer's .380 from a decade or so ago?

Looking at the video of MB shooting,  it appears it does not lock back on the last shot.   A slide catch would be a nice feature if for no other reason than to be able to run a boresnake thru it.    Watching that video makes me want to go down to the range and shoot the heck out of my KT.       I will use a shooting glove.

Currently I have the P345. Is the LCP something that would be a better option for a carry gun? I do like my .45, but something a little smaller might just be nice. Comments?

If you want a good gun in a decent caliber that weighs about the same as your keys to stick in your pocket, YEP.

Thanks for the response. There are some places I just can't carry the P345, so I thought this might be a good alternate carry piece.
