I also picked up a new Ruger LCP today in the Texas Only "Coyote Special" commemorative. Never had any desire to own a LCP or any 380 for that matter. Somehow I just could not say no to the idea of this one. I suspect this one will be my first true "safe Queen"

Give it a chance to win you over.
Get a pocket holster and keep it in a pocket all the time...jacket, pants, shorts, PJ around the houls for a week.
You might find it is the weapon you carry most often.

Carry the LCP. I have a KelTec I frequently forget I have in my pocket. It's ALWAYS there, never gets left home as to heavy.

I saw the Coyote Special last week-end and believe the words are not added by Ruger. The standard LCP was $60 cheaper so I bought one of those and shot it yesterday.

I wonder if Daisy will come out with a Mitt Romney "Small Varmints" special edition?
