I re-watched the IDPA episode this week. I noted that when you started the match you mentioned you were shooting the SR9 Compact. However I noticed that throughout most of the match, it appeared you were using a full size SR9.
I have shot the SR9 compact and noticed that when using the low capacity mag in my friends gun it only held 10 rounds. As you know, when you start a stage, the first mag has 11 rounds and the next two have 10. (unless you use a barney mag with one round to charge the gun). I myself thought this might be awkward but I also found the full capacity mag with the extension might be cumbersome to use as well with the sleeve sliding up and down might pinch your hand when changing mags.
Aside from the longer sight radius on the full size, did the magazines have anything to do with your decision in shooting the full size?
