Man in custody after gunman scare at North Side hospital

A man is in custody after police received calls that a gunman had been seen Tuesday night at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital on the North Side.
San Antonio police Sgt. Javier Salazar said a person of interest had been apprehended around 8 p.m. near the Medical Center.
Salazar said it was unclear what charges the person could face, if any.
No shots were fired, no injuries were reported, and no one saw a gun, Salazar said.
The hospital, at 1139 E. Sonterra Blvd., was on lockdown while police did room-to-room searches for the suspect. Officers also shut down Sonterra near 281 and Loop 1604 during their investigation. Salazar said it was only out of an abundance of caution that police shut down the hospital.

According to early reports, a gunman had been spotted with a long gun and a handgun on the second floor of hospital. Police, who responded to the call around 7 p.m., said no weapons were ever seen.

The so called "news" folks try again to desperately make a GUN!! story.
Did they just grab the guy for "being in the area" or did he make a false call to the cops?
If a man was apprehended, what exactly was he apprehended for? Don't the cops know??
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.
