Yeah, any AK is better than no AK, especially these days. But, some are better than others in terms of quality and accuracy. But, like most things to get more you got to pay more. Some Romanians are good. Some are not. Some have excessive magazine wobble, lots of trigger slap, and horrible canted sights. Some don't. I would definetely look for canted sights though, especially on cheaper AK's. One trick I have learned is to actual boresight the gun with a laser to see if the iron sights are anywhere close to the laser dot. I learned first hand how totally off some AK sights can be. Some are perfectly fine. Each AK is different... but in my opinion you can get a premium one.

But, I would look at each individual AK long and hard and try to pick the best one that fits whatever budget you can afford. They are super tough and dependable.
