For those proud members of the "Black Rifle Assoc." 8)

A great song with some of the great porn we all enjoy.

The lyrics in this tune remind me why I'm American.

Happy and Safe 4th, Turn the volume up, it makes a difference when it kicks in....

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Time to be serious for a moment. On this day, the 4th of July, we commemorate a few, the 3%ers who risked all - more than their lives, but everything possible - their things, their reputations, their future generations (us). And as some here have noted, we have pissed it all away with the election of the current President who is pedal to the metal driving us toward something our Founding Fathers never imagined or envisioned. In fact, toward something they warned us about.

The splode.tv video reminded me of this one.

I posted it before, and once you get past the Goth/freak/metal/thrash/whatever of the artistes (and the hot dancers), listen to the lyrics. Here are some excerpts:

Dry your eyes and quietly bear this pain with pride
For heaven shall remember the silent and the brave
And promise me they will never see
The fear within our eyes
(my eyes are closed)
We will give strength to those who still remain

So bury fear, for fate draws near
And hide the signs of pain
With noble acts, the bravest souls
Endure the heart's remains
Discard regret, that in this debt
A better world is made
That children of a newer day might remember
And avoid our fate

(prepare for battle!)
...
Hold your head up high-for there is no greater love
Think of the faces of the people you defend

(you defend)
And promise me, they will never see
The tears within our eyes
(my eyes are closed)
Although we are men, with mortal sins, angels never cry
...
And in the fury of this darkest hour
I will be your light
A lifetime for this destiny
For I am Winter born
And in this moment..I will not run
It is my place to stand
We few shall carry hope
Within our bloodied hands

(bloodied hands)
And in our Dying, we're more alive-than we have ever been
I've lived for these few seconds
For I am Winter born

Have a Happy and safe Fourth - and Remember!
"I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do this to others and I require the same from them"

Thanks Pathfinder. I would have never guessed,...Cruxshadow? :o

In fact, toward something they warned us about.

Benjamin Franklin told a woman who asked: "What have you given us?"

He replied "A Republic madam, if you can keep it"......

Thanks again Path,.
