That's really cool.  I like the pistol grip stock and big (but not huge) loop lever on the Marlin, though.  Just...need...job...

It does look a bit sily, but I have say that if I ever get another lever action, it will have an eotech on it faster than you can say "dead pig". I think even Colonel Cooper would approve. ;)

Just as a follow up, on the used firearms market, $300 to $400 Winchester 30-30s are now showing up at $600 to $800. :(

I just can't get interested in Japchesters. Sorry but some things need to be American-made. What a crying shame the last real 94's were discontinued when they were. Several new and highly desirable variants were cataloged right before the bean counters pulled the plug. I really wanted one of the takedowns.
