you really have drank way to much of the glock koolaid.

It tastes good, is a great mixer with other beverages, and it never lets me down.

While not a religious adherent, I see the Glock's benefits.  The same goes for the 1911 platform, the 1911 being another Cult favorite to the point of becoming almost a mainstream religion.

As opposed to HK's, which are cults manned by mall ninjas.

Shame too, the HK USP45, the P2000 and the P7's I tried out were WONDERFUL.  Shame they're relegated to the mallninja fringe.

This is a great tribute to Glock. Ive seen the same for several other pistols. Bottom line is who the hell is gonna put their gun through this?  I use mobile 1 but I'm not gonna put my car on blocks and peg the tac to see if it blows. This type of demonstration is pure hype.

Hype, but fun hype.

If you can't survive it, does it really matter if your gun can? So you fall out of the chopper, hit the pavement, and get run over by a tank. Don't worry, your Glock still works. ;)

I'd kind of assume too, that the asphyxiation caused by being buried in a deluge of soil, mud and sand (or corn meal even) would preclude being able to pull the trigger, let alone aim and fire.

I saw a thread on a forum a few years ago that a guy plowed his GLOCK into his field with a tractor. It fell out of his holster and he didnt realize it. Ran over it with the tractor and found it some months later and it still worked.

I love my guns too much to do that to them, but good testimony on engineering.
