Ruger answers questions about the new LCP

Today, Ruger started shipping their new Ruger LCP to their distributors. This is earlier than estimated, so sometime next week, there's a good chance the dealers will receive their first shipments.

What are Ruger's thoughts on ammo selection for the LCP?  I assume the gun's designed to be reliable with quality factory hollowpoint ammunition as well as ball.

But how about "hot" factory .380 ammo like Buffalo Bore's new "+P" line:

I see that Buff Bore test chronoed each of their .380+P rounds in a Kel-Tec pocket pistol.  Impressive numbers (e.g. 100 gr hard cast LFN at 1061 fps), that I bet would be equaled if fired in an LCP.

No thanks, I had one of those and it was not a good experience.  The trigger return spring would not stay where it was supposed to.  Kel-Tec refunded my money, however.

Does the LCP have 'tool-less take down"? 

Why the slide lock if it doen't automatically lock on empty magazine?

Is there a magazine disconnect safety?
