I just hope the Zombie eat all the vampires and wearwolves.  I don't have any silver or wooden bullets.

The post modern poli-sci explanation is simple. Movies express a fictionalized version of our collective fears. During the Cold war it was alien invasions and body snatchers, a view of commie subversives and a Russian attack. They didn't make it explicit because it would be seen as over the top. Ever wonder why "Red Dawn" wasn't made in the early sixties or late fifties? I do, hell it should have been a no brainer, but it never happened. The zombie thing is explained as a gen X thing where foks distrust authority and fear not subversion from without, but brain washing from within turning us all ito evil mindless drones who eat the brains of normal folks. TO LATE We done been scrubbed   I take this with a grain of salt, but it does make a certain degree of sense. The greatest benefit of post modernism is that it makes us look at art as a commodity. We used to ask "What did the author indend and what sort of sybolism did he use?" I'm still scarred for life from an English teacher who obbsesed over that damn green light in "The Great Gatsby". Po-mo on the other hand asks a different question. They say "Screw the author  AND the editor, and the Producer, and a couple of the camera crew . Why do millions of people shell out their money and time to read or watch this stuff? What makes it resonate to a particular audience at a particular time"? Its a good question to ask.

FQ has a point though, Corporate America spends more  money on developing Viagra and Pumping up boobs than on prosthetics for our wounded troops.

We get paid by the word Tim. ;D But seriously, it is a valid point. WHY do people plunk down cash to watch ziombies? Why no Red Dawn in the fifties? Why alien body snatchers? All three genres reflect a time, place and cultural zeitgeist. Its worth looking at as it tells us a hell of a lot more about our collective mindset than some stupid poll and a statistical analysis. Want to know what people think and care about? Tell me where they spend their leisure time.

It's a .44 Magnum pistol...amazingly, it fed Specials straight out of the box. I sketched out a design for a holster for it! And I'm going to get Steve Young at Steve's Gunz to give me a standard lever...heck, I might shoot it in a SASS match because...well...because!

MB,

Have you tried Blazer (steel / aluminum?) case 44 special?  That will not feed in my Rossi lever.
