No, I just remember my nightmare experience with one in 1911 particular.  Which is why I'm happy so say I now have a Glock.  Guess what?  It works!   ;D

You could say that 1911s drove me to Glocks.  Thanks, 1911s!

Update:  Just ordered my replacement RSA.  Very short time on hold.

Same number of upgrades in 1/3 of the time.    ;D

Actually that's true if you consider the speed of technological innovation.
We had the horse and wagon for thousands of years, but we went from developing the steam boat to walking on the moon in under 200 years.

Another way of looking at that is that it took the makers of 1911s 3 times as long to make the needed improvements than Glock.  ;D
