Hope you make it back to the states soon, it may actually cool off (slightly). I'm thinkin' road trip to your "hood", and your nice, quiet, peaceful, Canasta playing neighbors.  ::)

Let's see if I saved the last neighborhood party pics.
Ah yes,...

And yes, it should be Stone Crab Season as well,.....Starts Tomorrow!!!! ;D

We can have a toast to Gov. Moonbeam, and the continued success of the Land of Fruit & Nuts.... 8)

Will we ever see the day when S&W, Sig, Beretta, and others join Ronnie Barrett in ceasing business with government and LE agencies in CA?  I know the answer... but it's like dreaming about winning the lottery... I just like thinking about what would happen.

Barrett doesn't/can't deal with California. Not the military, just Ca State Gov't idiots. By Ca Law....

All LEO's, SWAT, Assault Teams that use a .50 have to send them to Barrett every "x" number of rounds for service. Since he legally cannot send them back to CA. (cause AB50 banned them) he voided their warranty, and told them nicely to pound sand.

Here's a snip of his open letter to California, and a bit of a rant against the "anti's"....

Many of you have inquired as to the outcome of the letter I wrote to Police Chief Bratten of the LAPD. Unfortunately, the chief's position did not change. He continued to use his officers in the same deceptive practices formerly utilized with the city council. These few officers testifying in Sacramento ultimately contributed to the unconstitutional AB50 law being passed. It saddened me to have to tell members of the LAPD SWAT team that they would have to send someone for their rifle, because I refused to assist anyone or any organization that is in violation of the United States Constitution. In turn, the department arranged to pick up their un-serviced rifle.

Barrett cannot legally sell any of its products to lawbreakers. Therefore, since California's passing of AB50, the state is not in compliance with the US Constitution's 2nd and 14th Amendments, and we will not sell nor service any of our products to any government agency of the State of California.

Most states try to encourage revenue generating events, conventions, tournaments, etc,....It's called "stimulating" the local economy...

I guess Kalifornistan,  prefers to appeal to only the specific, Left-Leaning events, and has plenty of money, and a sound state economy...

oh wait..

nevermind... :-X

most of thier products are legal for sale In CA.  Mr barretts are not.( well atleast his 50s and his semis, seen several 416s on the shelf)

You have to understand, CA is run by LA and the bay area.  Get outside of those areas and every thing changes.

When I lived out there my next door neighbor was from the Ca. side of Tahoe.
He was just as disgusted with the socialists as I was.
He said the same as TAB, The rest of the state is fairly normal, it's just the urbanized azzholes in LA, the Bay area, and Sacramento that screw it up for every one  else.

Having spent alot of time in sacramento... for the most part its the transplants from the bay area that are jerks, the ones from the area are fine.
