Boyd's laminated wood AR furniture

Got my Boyd's furniture today for a project I'm working on.  Just had to say that they look so much better in person, and they look really good on the website!  I audibly gasped when I took the stock out of the box.  Luckily the wife was asleep, so she didn't have to hear me nerding out.

Photos will follow when it all gets here and is assembled.

I must say,

Went to their website and the prices are cheaper, in some cases, than the steel/plastic/aluminum parts.    $54 for a fore end and $64 for a stock.

Looking good. That's the same color I would get if I was buying the set. I think I would have gone with the finger grooves too.

FINALLY, an AR you can butt stroke some one with .
One of the advantages of the AK has always been the option of smashing some one in the face with out breaking the stock.
