Breaded steak sandwich with lettuce and tomato for supper with cheesy-poofs (IYKYK).  ;D

Now having a bowl of fresh-out-the-oven peach cobbler.
Oh yeah......  8)

Oh, yeah! Cheesy Poofs are the best. Well, they don't compare to peach cobbler, my all-time favorite cobbler, but they're still good.

I had chicken thighs and mushrooms with wild rice. Now I'm eating 2 leftover slices of cinnamon raisin toast with butter. I toasted 6 slices in the toaster over but only ate 4 of them earlier. It isn't great but it's food.

Oldest granddaughter wanted the wife to try a new recipe.
It's a strawberry cream cheese cookie bar.
It was delicious!

I started salivating like crazy at the sight of the peach cobbler. The sour margarita I'm drinking may contribute to that too. The last thing I ate was 2 Jimmy Dean's pancakes and sausage on a stick. Like corn dogs but better because it's made of breakfast sausage links. Before that I had pork shepherds pie. I don't care if it's pork or beef, as long as it's not German Shepherd pie. I get so hungry I could eat a horse, but not a dog. It's time to grab another meal out of the fridge and pop it in the microwave.

Had some deep-fried chicken guts (gizzards) with fries and slaw for lunch Sunday....the joint we go to puts enough on the plate for two meals so I had the leftovers for supper.
If you heat it up in the oven instead of the microwave, the fries don't get soggy or tough.

I'll try to remember that about the fries. I use the toaster oven a lot more than I used my regular oven. It doesn't heat up the whole house, so now I can bake frozen pizzas and junk all year, instead of not having anything all summer. I have food service peach cobblers in the freezer that are probably 9"x13" and the toaster over is 12"x 12" or something like that. I need to figure it out.

I ate a bunch of dark chocloate almond biscotti with my coffee, then had to eat something else. I had loaded mashed potatoes and shredded chicken, with broccoli. I'll have something else soon, jerky or a bowl of soup maybe.

Had the usual Independence Day cookout fare....... burgers and dogs coked on the Blackstone along with trimmings, slaw, baked beans, chips, sweet tea, soda and a few folks had fermented cold snacks.
Desserts included 12 layer chocolate cake, chocolate delight, strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting, pound cake, and nanner puddin'......  8)  :D  :D  :D

We had a giant water slide and I am pleased to say that none of the older folks busted a hip while sliding down the thing.  ;D

Jersey Mike's Bacon Chicken Ranch cheesesteak. This is the first UNSAT I've had from them in a long time... probably because it was delivery, when I go in for pickup they always take very good care of me.
