Almost everyone at the Christmas party I went to caught a virus and got really sick. I just had a cup of chicken bullion and started my second cup. I had 3 bullion cubes and put them in the coffee maker with 1 1/2 bottles of water. Yesterday I had 1/4 cup of ice cream, and nothing else to eat since Christmas day, because what goes down, must come up. I hope that's over and food starts going through my system instead of in and out the same way.

Homemade banana bread with real butter on it. I had some popcorn before this. I'm drinking a Michigan Cherry flavor soda and had a "Honolulu Blue" cream soda before this.

Towne Club first entered the market in the mid-1960s, debuting its well-loved “Pop Shops” in Detroit. The Pop Shops offered an incredible number of soda flavors, much more than what was typically seen in grocery stores. The assortment of flavors was known to inspire curiosity and enjoyment among patrons. At Pop Shops, visitors entered the store, grabbed a sturdy wooden crate, and walked around the various stacks of pop—creating a memorable in-store experience. Customers would be encouraged to bring back empty bottles as well as cases, creating a virtuous cycle of experiences.

I fried up 2 boxes of pork potstickers earlier and ate all 16(?) of them with ponzu sauce.

I baked half a loaf of garlic bread with a whole package of Cheddar Gruyere cheese on it. I ate some as is and dipped some of it in Yo Mama's Marinara Sauce. I ate the whole thing and have the other half loaf in the fridge, topped with another package of Cheddar Gruyere cheese, ready to bake.

Gruyère is a good melting cheese, particularly suited for fondues, along with Vacherin Fribourgeois and Emmental. It is also traditionally used in French onion soup, as well as in croque-monsieur, a classic French toasted ham and cheese sandwich. Gruyère is also used in chicken and veal cordon bleu.

I think the last thing I ate was chocolate ice cream. I just put a bunch of Totino's Pizza Rolls NXTLVL Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza Snacks in the toaster oven. I had some earlier and cooked them a little too crispy so I'm giving these 3 minutes less cooking time. I had to use my fuel points at Kroger before they expired so I gassed up last night at $1.25 off/gallon. Then I went in and bought frozen pizzas, chicken nuggets and pizza rolls, and six-pack of Cayman Jack Margaritas in stubby bottles, among other things.

Mac & Cheese. After I put it in the toaster oven I read the baking instructions again. That's when I finally saw the part that says not to put it in a toaster oven. I don't know why a regular oven is okay to put the plastic tray in. Well, it was already in the toaster oven, so I just left it there. The toaster oven Erred and beeped and I had to unplug it. I took it out and the plastic tray had melted. I dumped it out on a paper plate and ate it anyway. I had 3 slices of Muenster cheese on top that was crispy but barely burnt, and the rest was just warm.

If you make a cottage pie with lamb instead of beef it's a shepherd's pie. In England, Australia and New Zealand, anyway. I didn't know there was a difference.
