Guacamole flavor tortilla chips with a mixture of medium red salsa and salsa verde, both made in Mexico. With a few margaritas. I mixed up another batch with the last of my tequila.

Down East Carolina BBQ kettle chips. I know of North Carolina and South Carolina, but if there's an East Carolina I haven't heard of it before.

It's just terminology referring to the coastal eastern region of the state.
Learnt it when I lived there as a kid.

I've been buying the Aldi's store brand kettle chips, Clancy's.....their chips and pretzels are really good.

Having chicken salad sandwich, some Goldfish and a nutty-buddy bar for lunch.

Pepparkakor (pepper cakes), from Sweden. Known as ginger nuts or ginger snaps in English. They were very thin and crispy, like the home baked ones in the first pic, and were all shaped like hearts. The other kind of ginger snaps are usually a lot harder and crunchier, and have molasses in them. These had cloves, cinnamon, and ginger, but no pepper.

As with German pfeffernüsse (pepper nut) cookies that don't contain pepper or nuts, in old times pepper was a generic name for any type of spice, and they were were called nuts because they were the size of nuts and you could eat them buy the handful. If you've never had pfeffernüsse before, do yourself a favor and buy some when they're in stores again before Christmas. You can thank me later. They're one of the best Christmas cookies IMO.

"Wild Cherries" candy. These are usually sold as Sour Cherries, and sometimes Michigan Cherries. These are Mexican Cherries. Made in Mexico and not very sour. A little bit tart and a whole lot sweet. Not recommended for anyone wanting Michigan Cherries or Sour Cherries.

Yesterday I had three 8" Super Steak & Onion subs with cheese, pepper rings, and red sauce. I normally have #3 steak & cheese subs, but ordered #4 super steak & cheese because I was hungry. The supers have more meat, or at least they're supposed to. I don't think they measure how much meat goes on either one. I still don't know what red sauce is made of but it's red like tomatoes, and spicier than the peppers on my subs. They sell bottles of red sauce but it's just not the same as the fresh stuff they put on the subs, and in small plastic cups on the side. So much of the buttery oil they fry the shaved ribeye steak in dripped on my T-shirt I should just throw it away. There's no way that's coming out in the wash.

I don't have any tequila, but I have a big bottle of rum, and several bottles of margarita mixer, so I mixed up a half-gallon of what I call rum-a-ritas. It turns out there actually is a Rum Rita cocktail but this ain't it.

I have a tray of mac & cheese setting on top of the stove, still kind of warm from the oven, that I'll be eating soon.

I just finished a bag of Canada Mints, also known as Pink Wintergreen Lozenges, one of the oldest candies available. I think my great uncle used to have these or butterscotch disks in a candy dish when I was a little kid. It's kind of hard to remember half a century later. Before these I had barbecue pork filled Bao, Chinese steamed buns. But I don't have a steamer and my microwave broke, so I baked them in the toaster oven. I had a cup of water in there with them to try to keep them moist but it didn't work. They were slightly burnt and still not hot.

French Dijon pretzels. Like honey mustard flavor without he honey, and spicier. There's something in them that's burning my tongue, but my mouth isn't hot, so it's not chilies or anything like that.
