Oh yeah....too many $$$'s.  $300...maybe $350 max.  Though I really do like the concept.  I don't like the upper picatinny rail but it can be removed.  I think if you're going to need a bipod it's a really great idea and reduces overall weight and stuff to keep up with.

At $300 i would order one.

I would have to build an ar10 for it, but its an excuse to do it right?

Excuse?

You are retired.  You don't need an excuse.  It's called puttering.....you'd be puttering around with necessary chores/modifications that you didn't have time to get around to when you were working.

I am not retired... i am just unemployed.

Step 1 really is find some property and build a house.

Every one i look at either has an re agent that does not even have room temp iq or is way too much for what you get.

I found one i like, but its on a slope that would mean significant  excavation  ( about 6k yards at~$75 / yd3)to build a house on.  That or spend a million bucks on a split level with retaining wall.  Which is why its for sale at 23k an acre where the rest in that area are at least double that.  Buying or renting the equipment  to do it myself is not a cost savings as the guys that do it every day will be 10x faster and they could bang it out in week.

Been getting rid of the stuff out of the partment now, looking at friday to turn the keys over.

Oops...yeah...unemployed.  Maybe call it practicing retirement?

Real Estate agents are akin to pom-pom girls.  They have a fairly strong lobby that helps direct and set up laws that aid in their ability to create and collect fees...at least that's how it is down south.

What state are you ending up in now?

Utah, just outside of salt lake for now.  Misses went back to shriners.  Trying to say with in about 75 miles of the hospital.

Me, i just want a small house... and a 40x60 shop.

My plans are, get both foundations put in at about the same time.  Build the shop with a bathroom.  Then build the house.  I want that space for things like fabricating the kitchen cabinets.

Yep.

In Georgia, real estate is the business folks get in when they can't be politicians and lawyers.  ;D
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison
