Finally got a Savage 1907 a year or two ago.  Really cool little gun with a really heavy trigger.  Has a double-stack magazine, too.

Here's the Savage with my Smith .32 Safety Hamerless.  I'm deathly afraid of removing the plating when I clean it.  Sweet little revolver.  Almost has sights!  (Pay no attention to the targets )

Here are a couple of war horses.  Enfield No. 2 Mk. 1 (top) and Nagant 1895 (bottom).  Love shooting the top one, but shooting the Nagant is like work.  I thought the Savage had a heavy trigger!

Is the rifle a Lee Enfield ? finish looks more like a Lee Speed, but mag looks like a later SMLE.

How do you like the Mag release on the Savage ?   
It was the 1st pistol to feature a double stack magazine.

It is a No. 4  Mk. 1. I love shooting this thing (don’t tell my Garand)!

The mag release took a little getting used to, but since it’s been cleaned up and properly lubed, the mag slides right out. Great for a lefty such as myself.

Oh yes. I'll give it that. The mag pretty much shoots half out once you get it figured out.
 But Lord I'm glad they settled on push button

I really should do some research on mine.
It's chromed, I don't know that the factory did any of those.

I got an Enfield a few years ago. Didn’t restore it though. In pretty good shape as is.  Would love to get a Webley. Maybe a WWI vintage.

If you do, get the Mk 6.
It's the only one safe with 45 ACP in moon clips.
There are a lot of earlier models with shaved cylinders to take the clips but the cylinders are not safe for 45 ACP.
