  haha I just got a job offer today to build 3800 homes.  Part of me wants to say yes.  Been so bored.  Ita great going skiing, hiking  and etc, but its not near as much fun  doing it alone as it is with somebody.   

It sucks when I am not working but the misses still is and will be for the next 29 years...  I need to feel productive, now I just feel lazy.  Finally found some one that will do the plans for my house in icf.  I refuse to pay $11 for a green 2x6

Lumber prices went nuts when every one was stuck home .

  the prices have gone up 4-5x of what they were in January  last year its nuts.

Price of concrete has not really changed. About 190 for 5 sack 3/4  and 230 for 7 sack 3/4.  Which is why icf is looking so promising.
  $3/ sqft  if I do it. 5-6 if I hire it out.     Stick with 2x6 green is about 8 right now if I do it

Yeah this price increase cycle has hurt with the rebuild we started in September.  Fortunately I am only waiting on someone to install tile and a/c we purchased in November.

I am waiting for a collapse in this building cycle to start a house.  I like the ICF.  Tab and I talked about that (thanks for the help Tab)...also about using precast concrete for basement construction to save time.

You should price out 2x3s.   They are about $3/ each.   The loss in strength  is no big deal for a shed
