A guy I know was talking about some he had seen  $40/ea.
They had an LED in the knock so you could watch it like a tracer .

Dayum.

How much is that in hay bales ?
I can keep some within a couple of those.
If I'm close   ;D

Lighted nocks have been out for like 25 years very popular, but not legal in idaho for some reason.  They are pretty cheap.. even have some that strobe/ change colors.  Shooting tight groups does chew up arrows.  Robin holding an arrow is not a high five moment.  It's a 4 letter word and there went $20+ bucks.

I am not sure how many hay bales it would take to stop an arrow out of my bow.  Maybe long ways, but I doubt it.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

Mike uses one of these I bought him two Xmas back.  His 100# bow won’t go thru it at hunting yardage.  He has fake deer, elk, bear targets all over the back yard.

Modern bow sights are ghost rings.  That in combo with a mechanical  release.  You are effectively using a modern firearm.  Only your muscles are thr gun powder.

Yes, I did shoot recurve bows as a youth.  Compound bows are amazingly accurate after you get used to the gadgets!  I used the SIL bow at a twenty yard indoor range, (he’s 5’7” and I’m 6’2”) so the bow wasn’t set for my draw length or peep sight!  Had to kinda lean over to sight and hold it funny cuz it didn’t fit me!

I was shooting bull’s in a matter of minutes!

Wasn’t prepared to drop the cash on one…

I might look into a modern recurve though!

Couple hay bales, or those backstops Tim posted and you can practice in the back yard.   ;D
Can't do THAT with a gun, at least not in town.   ;D
