Hayes Custom Guns.8) Too bad it's in Hitler's caliber, not God's caliber.:D If you put down a $3,000.00 deposit, in 15-18 months you could have one too. The Sight Tacker barrel is a $1,000 option, $1,300  if it's ported. Extra mags are $99.99 apiece. They do custom work on shotguns too.

I have one of their Gold color Oversized Charging handles for VR80 shotguns on my VRF14, which is a shortened version of the VR60 shotgun. The charging handles are the same on all 3 guns. They're made of 303 Stainless Steel, .130" longer and .075" larger diameter than factory parts, dimpled on both sides, with greater texture than the factory part. It has tabs on the shank to prevent over insertion, which matters more on a VR80 shotgun where you can stick the charging handle on either side of the gun. I would put it on the left side of my gun if I could, but there needs to be a slot 5 1/2" long made for it. I could do it easily enough but I only have hand tools and it would be a hack job. Too bad none of my friends has a mill.

I wish my projects got completed that fast lol.

I have 4 ars in stages either waiting on parts or looking for stuff that is no longer made.

I pretty much stopped buying guns as projects.   Just too hard to complete them these days unless they are pretty basic.

How wide is the grip?   Never found a double stack that felt right in my hand.

I didn't see any of the dimensions listed, other than barrel length.

Since the grip frames are made of metal (steel or aluminum) I think they're thinner than they would be if they were made of plastic. I still haven't found the specs anywhere.
