More + bolt mod. I was going to do the bolt mod, but when I tried drilling a hole in my bolt but couldn't drill a hole with my bits.

Wonder if one could “convert” a stock receiver.  One day when I have more money than sense I might look into it.

It's possible, mill the top off the receiver, then mill grooves inside for the new top piece to fit into then design retention device to hold it in place (screws or  pin, but different from what is being used in this design) so you don't infringe on his patent.

I like the concept... the only two faults I see with it are no rail on the top cover nor way to mount a rail/rear sight unit, and its not being available in Takedown format. (Had it been green on both of those and available at deadline, it would have been a Must Have on my Charger MWS project... and now I can't build an improved "version 2.0" until either I relocate out of WA or somebody imposes sanity on the idiots in Olympia at point of Federal bayonet.
