Happy Birthday Tom.

Yes, Happy Birthday my friend.
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

Happy Birthday Tom, I've been getting AARP stuff for a year, they are anti gun, so I have not joined, I've been 50 since last May. My boss who is 6 months ahead of me, joined vigorously, and enjoys the discounts. Maybe a new thread, do We drink the coolaid? And enjoy the benefits? Or Say Hell no, and and try to change the AARP's position, without being a member, or join and try to change it from that position??????????????

I was wondering the same thing. When I hit 50 do I join and give them my opinion, or not join at all?

Not join and tell them why. Then if they KEEP sending us stuff, use the postage paid envelopes to send it back.
Haz, One HA was enough. ;D

I want to thank all my friends for the kind birthday wishes. Lets see what (or who) we can stir up next year.  ;D

I see Ksail has one coming up too.  ;D

Good idea, I'm tired of throwing that junk into the trash.
