hell buy it and resell it at that price

I think he still has a 2 box limit per customer. The last time I went by there (his shop is 50 miles away) the line to get in was 1/4 mile long.  ;D

I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

I would buy it and sell it to the local shooting club members for $25/box.  Basicly just covering my costs.  I like to see people  that want to practice be able to do so.   The lack of ammo and primers has stopped all my shooting.  One of things I was looking forward too when I stopped working

Things still seem a little dicey on the ammo front here in western North Carolina.  I drove by a pawn shop outside of Sylva yesterday.  Their sign advertised they were paying top prices for gold, silver and 9mm hollow point.

Been watching the CCI shopping web page and haven't seen anything, but other report grabbing some rimfire stuff every now and then.  https://www.cci-ammunition.com/home

However the Federal Premium web page shows a couple of things in stock every week.   Trouble is they had a 2 box limit.  They've up'd it now to 4 boxes.  Problem is you need $150+ to get the free shipping.   https://www.federalpremium.com/handgun/

Well guess what just became available?   The AE9DP100 which are the 100 round boxes.  AHHHHH.   FOUR of those puts you into FREE shipping AND you're getting 400 rounds.

You have to watch every morning as they deal go pretty quickly.

I'm shooting only Steel Challenge rim fire now... .22lr SBR'd AR and Ruger 22/45 MKIV... if you check the Federal web page it is pretty regularly offering Champion in 800 packs for $73... $150 order for free shipping, and they charge sales tax...on the CCI web page, CCI Blazer and standard velocity have been available for approximately the same per round... $99 order for free shipping and they charge sales tax... a 500 brick of Blazer + standard velocity squeaks over the free shipping threshold

so about $15 in ammo for a Steel Challenge match...have an aftermarket firing pin inbound for the Ruger as I've had some failure to ignite some of the Federal (which I'm shooting for practice)

cataract surgery scheduled for the end of the month... looking forward to being able to see only one dot  :)

Got my 3,200 rounds of Federal .22lr yesterday.  $0.10/rd including tax and shipping.  I'm set for a while now with .22lr.  Did a good cleaning of my 22/45s and they ran flawlessly in the Steel Match last week with this stuff.

Alf... I've really pimped out the 22/45 MK IV... Striplin thumb rest and TankdeKross grips, just added a Volquartsen adjustable trigger, hammer, sear, which removes the magazine safety and drops the trigger pull down to about that of my SW M41...VQ adjustable recoil spring kit as it occasionally short stroked and didn't re-set the trigger...  have had some light firing pin strikes on bulk pack Federal, so stuck a VQ firing pin in it yesterday... I had under cut the extractor so left the factory as it is working well... will try out the new firing pin Tuesday...

I'm running the Holosun 510c "jumbo tron" for a sight... looking forward to the cataract surgery next week... regards
Les
