  1. Thanks for the heads up on FB, Michael. A serendipitous week, it seems. One other thing about the 1911 is that I have seen many people write on comments at various places that just like me, they also shoot the gun better than any other gun. No doubt it is the ergonomics and the great trigger.
    I am a retired 3rd shifter who made steel for the investment cast industry for over 35 years, so I was still awake when you posted this. And I made the metal for a number of firearms manufacturers, from 410 stainless to 17-4 PPH, and a number of other alloys for all kinds of parts and such.

  2. RE: crimson trace grips- you should know, michael, that the crimson trace is garbage. reason?
    the rubber over the on switch rots & breaks away. common enough, however the company refuses
    to fix them. not just for free- even if you are willing to pay all costs. their stand is- we will sell you
    another pair at half price. they are theives & they are selling chinese junk. buy them if you are that
    foolish- i never will again.
