Your 2 minutes of hate silence is back, as it was on your last podcast.
I always appreciate your comments on carrying .22s. I don’t do so but not looking down on those who do and giving advise on the best way to do so is helpful.
I don’t carry a .22. I use stand velo .22 to kill trapped varmints with a suppressed .22. That is about it for .22’s in my life. I carry (2) Hellcat 9mm’s. No need or time to practice tactical reloads and all the other Rambo BS. I got 28 – 30 9mm rounds ready to go.
I also break the mold as I carry ball ammo, preferably nylon jacketed. (But can’t find it now.) Tremendous penetration. If I shoot someone in their heart, I want it to go through their heart and out their back. Shoot someone in one ear…I want it to go out the other ear.
…but any way you slice it, a .22 in your ear or eye will still do the job. But before you can do that, you need to slow them down some. Pretty hard hitting a head that is in motion.
